Privacy Policy

Videri Marketing ("we", "us", "our") is a videography and social media marketing agency based in Ontario, Canada, serving clients across Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Hamilton, Guelph, the Greater Toronto Area, Mississauga, Burlington and Oakville. This privacy policy explains what information we collect when you interact with our website (viderimarketing.com), our advertising forms and our client portal, and what we do with it.

We only collect information you choose to give us. Specifically:

• From contact & advertising forms — your name, email address, business name (optional), phone number (optional), the type of project you’re interested in, and any details you include in the message.
• From our client portal — name, email, password (stored hashed), business name, and the project / invoice / contract information our team manages for you.
• From payments — we do not store your credit card number. Card details are sent directly to Stripe, our payment processor, who handles them under PCI-DSS-compliant security. We only see a confirmation that a payment was successful and the last four digits / brand of the card.
• Standard website data — basic, anonymous analytics (page views, device type, referring page) so we can improve the site. We do not build advertising profiles of individuals from this data.

The information you provide is used only to:

• Respond to your inquiry, schedule a call, or send you a tailored quote.
• Deliver the services you’ve signed up for (project updates, invoices, contracts).
• Send service-related notifications (e.g. "your invoice is ready", "your contract has been uploaded").
• Process payments when you choose to pay an invoice or retainer.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not add you to a marketing list without your permission. We do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

• All traffic to our website and portal is encrypted in transit using HTTPS / TLS.
• Passwords are stored using one-way industry-standard hashing (bcrypt) — we cannot read them, even ourselves.
• Access to the admin side of our client portal is restricted to our team and protected by authentication.
• Payment processing happens entirely on Stripe; sensitive payment data never touches our servers.
• We retain personal data only for as long as it’s needed to provide our services or to comply with legal / accounting requirements, and then we delete it.

We use a small number of trusted vendors to run the website. Each is a recognized provider with its own privacy commitments:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — sending transactional and contact-form emails.
• Google — optional Google sign-in for the client portal (we only ever receive your name, email and profile picture, never your Google password).
• MongoDB — secure cloud database storage.

If you submit information through advertising forms on Meta (Facebook / Instagram) or Google Ads, that data first passes through those platforms under their own privacy policies before reaching us.

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed into the client portal and to measure basic site usage. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site-tracking cookies. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.

Under Canada’s PIPEDA (and similar laws in your region), you have the right to:

• Ask us what information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct any information that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your information (subject to any legal record-keeping we’re required to maintain, e.g. invoices).
• Withdraw consent at any time for us to contact you about our services.

Our services are intended for businesses and the people who run them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to existing portal users by email.
